Bike Your Neighborhood: Juneteenth Edition

Join us for a family friendly celebration of Juneteenth by bike. We will start at Amos Norwood Mini Park and ride through Buckeye, Larchmere, and Mt. Pleasant highlighting historic events and achievements of African Americans in Cleveland. This ride will be led by the Juneteenth Freedom Riders who have led annual rides in honor of this holiday since 2017.  

This will be an 8-10 mile bike ride at a casual pace. No riders will be left behind!

Reminders & What to Bring

• Wear your favorite Juneteenth gear or your favorite cultural athletic attire.

• In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, we will notify registered riders and also post on all our social media channels.

• Sign the waiver prior to or at the ride 

• What to bring: beverage of choice to stay hydrated, a helmet, reflectors/lights, and your bike in good working condition. 

• We will have a bike pump on hand.
